 Experience

Kirstie is an experienced legal practitioner in all aspects of Family and Defacto Relationship Law and is dedicated to providing Family and De Facto Law clients with quality advice and service both in negotiating mutually beneficial agreements and navigating the court systems.

Prior to Kirstie's career with Michael Lynch Family Lawyers, she worked in a highly diversified suburban firm in Adelaide prior to moving to Brisbane in August 2004.  Once in Brisbane Kirstie worked in the Personal Legal Services team of a large Brisbane law firm, where she focussed on Family and Defacto Law. Kirstie is also committed to providing access to justice to the community and volunteers with the Women's Legal Service in Annerley.  Kirstie volunteered with the Roma Mitchell Community Legal Centre in Adelaide. 

Capabilities

Kirstie is able to provide competent advice, negotiate and attend court (where necessary) in relation to the following areas:

  • Disputes regarding parenting issues including with whom a child may live or spend time
  • Disputes regarding property settlements for both married and defacto couples
